On Thursday night one of my favourte Dj's gracefully bowed out of Radio 1. Kissy Sell Out had been maning the decks at Radio 1 for 3 years (to the day) on the Thursday 12-2 slot. He parted company on a high with the most popular INDJWT (In New Dj's We Trust) show. Kissy was the first ever DJ I took note of. His remix for a Bolt Action Five (Anyone remember them?) did the rounds in most north/east London bar (I was 16 so it was any bar that would fucking serve me) and got me realising that I had a passion/obsession for dance music. I think he will be missed from Radio 1, cause his show got away with anything. It was jump up, rock and rave and it sounded like he was always having the best time when DJ'ing.
It will always be toe tag time in teen ville for me!
