Thanks to Lucy over at Subtle Tea blog for bringing this to my attention. KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony (a reble leader who has been committing crimes against the people of Uganda for 20 years and has gone unchallenged) famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
I was shocked at some of the footage in the video, but it needs to be shown for people to understand the severity of what is going on in Uganda and what Joseph Kony is doing to that country. So be warned.
Definitely half an hour well spent.
